Clinton appears before Congress over Benghazi attack

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, testified Wednesday in a Senate hearing that was politically charged and at times emotional. She defended the Obama administration’s response to last year’s deadly assault on a diplomatic post in Libya.

“What difference, at this point, does it make?” Clinton asked during an exchange with one Republican. “It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again.” I agree that we need to figure out what happened and make sure it never happens again, but saying “what difference,…,does it make” is unacceptable behavior. This is something a child says to get out of a lie or your husband after he has an extramarital affair with his intern. The victims families need a response and they need to know what happened and yes it does make a difference.

Someone needs to take responsibility and action should be taken. We have waited four months and it seems that nothing will be done other than hearing lies. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) accused Clinton of “a failure of leadership” that cost American lives. If he had been president, “I would have relieved you of your post,” he said. Clearly he has his cojones in place.

As if loosing four lives in Benghazi and being lied too isn’t enough…Hillary Clinton will probably run for office in 2016.
