Michael Bloomberg and Absurd Policies

New York City Mayor, Michael Bloomberg is a hypocrite when it comes to his absurd policies. Starting March 1, 2013 New Yorkers will not be allowed to purchase soft drinks larger than 16 ounces. He is also organizing to limit the amount of pain killers distributed to patients in public hospitals. In addition, he is a huge supporter of gun control, even though he has impressive security detail following him. What will be next?
According to sources close to Mr. Bloomberg, he is a huge popcorn junkie and has popcorn machines in all his homes and enjoys limitless buckets of buttery, salty popcorn. Popcorn is not the healthiest snack so maybe that should be the next ban. I guess that will never pass since he enjoys it so much.

To be fair, and who says we have to be fair, Joseph Mattera (from the video) is an “ambush journalist” and his question is frivolous. If we conservatives strive to a higher purpose we don’t have to emulate the ambush journalism that most of the Dominant Establishment Liberal Mass Media (thank you Mike Rosen) practices when they have the chance. Jesse Watters on the Bill O’Reilly Show is as much as I care to observe and he is more meaningful in the process. It is noteworthy that even Jesse is alleged to have contributed to the Obama campaign. http://www.politico.com/blogs/media/2012/12/fox-newss-jesse-watters-trashed-obama-voters-donated-151387.html (Anyone have fresh mud to sling?)

Being a New Yorker myself I’m very upset by Michael Bloomberg’s policies. With that being said, I do agree with you that conservative ambush journalism is almost (only almost) as bad as the liberal mass media.

I wholeheartedly sympathize on Bloomberg. Dictating what people can eat and drink is far off the scale of common sense.

Awhile back, I also wrote about Bloomberg’s crazy quest for “political unity” and “no labels.” Stumbled across your blog from John’s page. Thanks for the posts! Keep it up!

What are Bloomberg’s aspirations after he is term-limited out of the mayor’s office soon? Please tell me he’s NOT going to run for Congress! Please tell me he’s NOT going to be appointed by President Obama to replace Richard Cordray as the new head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Instead, please tell me he’s only going to open a NYC adult day care center for helpless liberal zombies.

A noteworthy article on Bloomberg in the NYT today. I don’t know if the link will work for non-subscribers: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/08/nyregion/bloomberg-builds-an-empire-in-london.html?nl=todaysheadlines&emc=edit_th_20130208&_r=0&pagewanted=all
